Tree Planting Events.

Friday, March 9, 2012 at 9:00am is the City of Roseville Arbor Day tree planting in Hillsborough Park, 1001 Hillsborough Drive, Roseville, California 95746. All ages are welcome. The City of Roseville is sponsoring this event. Click here for more information.

Saturday, March 10, 2012 9:00am — noon
Adelante High School, 350 Atlantic Street, Roseville, California 95678.
Creek Cleanup and Restoration Planting at Adelante High School. Parking lot at Atlantic and Doyle Streets.
We will be picking up trash, removing invasive plants and planting willows along the the creek. The trees will help shade the water and improve fish spawning and water quality. We will teach you how to plant the trees and let you see if you can identify the invasive plants; you probably know how to pick up trash! We will provide the trees and tools and even give you a snack! Please wear work clothes and sturdy shoes or boots and bring your work gloves. This activity is best for adults and responsible teenagers because we will be working with sharp pruning saws and hammers. Please register for the Creek Cleanup event so we know to expect you.

All participants need to sign our Volunteer Release Agreement.
